Sophia is a 15-year-old high school sophomore who lets her curiosity get the best of her. When her grandfather dies she finds herself exploring the attic only to find letters from her great aunt Patricia while her grandfather served in the Vietnam War.

The letters reveal more about her family history and her great-aunt Pat than she ever knew. The letters stop in the spring of 1968 without much closure to what happened.

Pat was a normal 17-year-old girl in 1968 who only wanted one thing - love. Pat believes she is on the right track but can never foresee what comes from vulnerability and the consequences of trusting the wrong person.
